The 2017 Nissan Armada Lives Up To Its Name

This full-size SUV is quite worthy of the name Armada. Of course, when we hear that word we usually think of a large group of naval ships ready and willing to attack a target, but the original Spanish meaning of Armada simply means, “armed.” The fully redesigned 2017 Nissan Armada is arguably one of the most ready and willing ‘armed’ Sport Utility Vehicle to come on the market since the Abrams M1 tank was developed.

Now, as you will see when you visit Central Avenue Nissan, the Armada isn’t really a tank and when you look up the Abrams M1 tank on the Internet you will see that it is not an SUV. We simply felt that there was a slight connection between these two very durable vehicles and wanted to take the opportunity to drive it home (No Pun intended). The Armada is for fun and the tank is for…well, other things. The Armada is sturdy like a tank but it is much more comfortable and a lot quicker. It’s also a great deal more stylish than any military vehicle – ever.

The Nissan Armada is a more than capable SUV that has plenty of room for the whole family and then some. It hauls up to eight people in comfort, with plenty of leg, head and shoulder room, and tows a lot of weight with the greatest of ease. The Armada is an accommodating SUV that is rugged and promises to get you where you want to go when you want to go. It has a powerful V-8 Engine that produces 390-horsepower and it doesn’t disappoint in traffic or when you need to accelerate quickly.

The cabin of the Armada is luxurious, to say the least. Remember, this automobile is related to the Infiniti QX80 so opulence and extreme comfort are par for the course. Second-row captain’s chairs are optional on the Platinum trim level and the standard SV level comes with a full-size spare tire, 18-inch wheels, roof rails, automatic LED headlights, rearview camera, keyless ignition and entry, power front seats. Tilt and telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel, navigation system, an 8-inch touchscreen interface, satellite radio, USB media interface, 13-speaker Bose audio system and Bluetooth connectivity, among many more standard features. When you drive your Armada off the lot, you’ll feel totally safe and secure in the comfort of its full size and its instant responsiveness.
