A recent survey on British driving habits, conducted by Berkshire-based UK car leasing experts Fulton Leasing, reveal that those falling into the ‘millennial’ age group display the most dangerous habits behind the wheel, and were more likely to cause traffic violations and road accidents.

One aspect of the survey focused on ‘distracted driving’. Distracted drivers account for around 25% of all UK motor vehicle fatalities, and they are four times as likely to be in a crash resulting in injuries.

Fulton Leasing’s survey revealed that 12% of 18 – 24-year-olds and 13% of 25 to 34-year-olds have used their mobile phone whilst driving.
