August 30th 2011 was the date that the unlucky Aventador crashed into a truck during overtaking in Italy. After hitting the truck, it spun and hit a telephone pole, traffic sign and fence before coming to rest in a ditch. Heavy damage to the front wheels was sustained but the all new carbon fibre monocoque stayed strong. Driver unhurt but one VERY hurt ego since he has basically been the first to wreck the most stunning car OF ALL TIME!
