Update: Bugatti Galibier Production on Hold

I had previously mentioned that the Galibier had been confirmed for production and it had but it now seems that Bugatti have put the whole thing on hold. Apparently the CEO of Bugatti, Wolfgang Durheimer, does not think it is ready for production for one simple reason. It is not wild enough. He said that the new 4 door concept needs more power (as if 800hp is not enough), more rear space and just a tad more luxurious. He wants it to be “the best car on the planet”. Personally I think he is reaching a bit far as this car already looks seriously luxurious and with 800 horses packed into it, I am sure it is rather powerful. The decision will be made later this year and although 99% of the world’s population will never be able to afford one, it will most certainly be one insane and ludicrous car.
