We all know of the coupon buying sites such as Groupon and Sebastian Vogel sure as hell knows about them too. He thought he had struck the jackpot when he bought a coupon costing just R350 to drive a Ferrari 360 Spider. Problem is, he collided with a BMW just 15 minutes into the drive and badly damaged the Ferrari and another car. Yes there is insurance with these types of things but the fine print is the one that catches you out and it clearly states all insurance claims will be void if driver was speeding. They are now using GPS and the engine management data to determine if this was the case. If he is proven guilty, he will have to foot the bill estimated to be in the R3million mark. OUCH!
