Ok after I did the post a few days back on the crashed Koenigsegg CCXR in Johannesburg, new information has surfaced (thanks to @JesseStephens0) and the car has been fully repaired. The repair was done by Peter Bailey (Bailey Cars) who dubbed the Koenigsegg CCXR Repair as a “Special Project”. The owner (yet to be determined) crashed the CCXR in Early 2011 and was quoted R6million by Koenigsegg to fix the vehicle. Peter Bailey manufactured all the necessary parts, including plenty bodywork, radiator, suspension and front windscreen. Glad to see the car is looking fantastic again and well done to the guys for all the hard work they put into it. I wonder what this bill must have been but I am sure it cost a fraction of the original quote. Click read more for some more build and repair pictures.
