So yes it is another rumor but a cool one so I thought I would share. We know that Audi have given up on putting the R8 e-tron into production thanks to the SLS AMG E-cell producing nearly twice as much power. They are instead going to try and bring in a diesel hybrid version of the R8. We saw pics of the V12 TDI in 2008 but then they pulled the plug. I am excited to see if this materializes as as proper diesel supercar will produce scary amounts of torque and acceleration!
