The new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 will be revealed at the Detroit Motor Show and I have to admit it looks menacing. Ever since I saw one a while back accelerate at a set of robots I knew it was a car I would be interested in. The SRT treatment coupled with the new face lift looks epic. The previous model looked hungry and this one looks even hungrier. The blacked out font, the bumper grille and the headlight bezels are stand out features for me. The rear could have been a bit more aggressive I feel but I am sure a tuner will fix that in due course. The unchanged 470hp, HEMI V8 with new 8 speed transmission means you will hit 100km/h in just 4.8 seconds. For those worried about the environment and saving fuel (surely this car is not for you) they have included cylinder deactivation which gives it a slightly better economy.
