The E63 AMG S model now offers you 577hp which is a 20hp increase and a tyre-shredding 800Nm of torque which makes this the fastest E-Class ever offered by Mercedes-Benz. 100km/h comes up in a M5 beating 4.1 seconds. Obviously there is the other problem with selecting the S option… The price! If it comes to South Africa, it will be about R190 000 extra which is a decent amount of money for just a little bit extra and some ‘S’ badges. I am a speed freak so if I had the money I would not hesitate! These super saloon’s are going to be called supercars in a few years time…
