Remember when VW showed us the completely insane GTI W12 concept which was fitted with a 640hp Bentley engine? Well the guys have something else planned for this year’s Worthersee but it won’t be something bonkers like that. It will most likely be the GTI Edition 40 (which marks 40 years of the GTI) and feature a small performance increase and a some subtle cosmetic changes. I would think the Edition 40 would have to come with at least 250hp to make it something special and they better fit the carbon fibre roof which will save 9kg. Can’t wait to see what they come up with!
