Now this is something pretty damn awesome! The new CLA is one of the hottest pieces of Mercedes-Benz new lineup especially the CLA 45 AMG. Well we now have a CLA 45 AMG Racing Series Concept on its way and we will be seeing it in Frankfurt next week. “It provides a preview of a further customer sports racing car from Mercedes-AMG” and that it sure is. Stripped down and more muscular racing car loaded with carbon and powered by the mighty 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four. Mercedes went on to say “The CLA 45 AMG Racing Series is destined for the crowd-pulling race series featuring 2.0-litre turbocharged cars and may be deployed internationally if demand is high enough. “The technical specifications will vary according to the race rules and race series. The engine output and power transmission are variable, with permanent all-wheel drive or purely front-wheel drive possible as in the standard version.”
