We know by now that the new Audi S8 is most certainly not lacking in the power department but if you were possibly waiting for the RS version then you are going to be disappointed. Chief engineer, Stephan Reil said “any RS would need to offer 20- to 25-percent more power than the same model in S guise. And in this light, an RS8 or RS A8 would not make sense”. I must be honest I agree with them on this point because to me their is no point in having a car this size with over 640 horses (which is what the standard car has).
