We still do not know if the P1 obtained that insane Nurburgring time or not but it doesn’t seem to have slowed down interest in the car because the order books are now closed. McLaren confirmed today that all 375 P1’s are spoken for so if you are in the hybrid hypercar market, then you are going to have to look to Porsche for their 918 Spyder. There is a waiting list you can put your name on however in the case where someone drops out of their order. It seems these buyers do not care about the Nurburgring lap time but rather exclusivity and the P1 delivers on this note seeing as there will be 499 LaFerrari’s and Porsche are hoping to sell 918 of their Spyder’s.
