As you may now, the deliveries of the new Porsche 991 GT3 was suspended and existing owners were asked to not drive their machines in case it caught fire. Two cases were reported where the car caught fire due to an engine issue. The problem has been identified and now Porsche will be replacing 785 GT3 engines around the world. It may take some time for your dealer to receive the powerplant but once they have it, it will apparently only take one day to complete the engine change.
