It is illegal to park in front of a fire hydrant and this BMW owner learnt the hard way when both his front windows were smashed by the Boston Fire Department. At first they smashed the windows to to get the hose through but when the water was not flowing correctly, fire fighters and civilians managed to lift the car and move it a foot away. The driver was fined $100 but I think replacing the windows will cost a hell of a lot more than that! IDIOT!
