A new report from autocar has given us some fresh new information on the upcoming Ford Focus RS which is set to be released sometime in 2016. This new beast will likely stick with a front-wheel drive system even though it is getting an even more powerful engine (which seems a little silly to me). The engine is likely to be the 2.3-litre EcoBoost from the new Ford Mustang which is said to deliver about 325 horses. This makes it about 30 horses more powerful than the outgoing RS. The engineers will install a mechanical limited slip diff to cope with all the power and the chassis will be lowered and suspension tuned for further sportiness.
