Earlier in the year some rumors popped up stating that two new BMW Z models will join the lineup in the future and the first one on the drawing board is said to be the BMW Z5. Automobile Mag have said that the Z5 will be the first sports car that BMW and Toyota will collaborate on and it could arrive by 2017. They continue to say that the hardtop version will be a Toyota and the roadster version will be a BMW. I will have to wait and listen for some more official information on this but it does sound very intriguing considering there could be a Z5M model that will be fitted with the 425 hp turbo straight-six  engine from the new M3 and M4.
