I shared some shots with you all last week of the one-of-a-kind BMW i8 Concours d’Elegance Edition well this weekend it proved to be a big hit because with a little help from Jay Leno, it was sold for an astonishing $825 000. This equates to about six times the retail price of the model and is of course the most expensive i8 ever sold. As mentioned before, it got a Frozen Grey Metallic exterior with Dalbergia Brown upholstery. Proceeds from this auction will go to the Pebble Beach Company Foundation.
