After testing the new car for 8000 kilometers on the Nurburgring, BMW have concluded that the X6 M is just as fast as the BMW E92 M3 Coupe on the famous race track. The previous BMW X6 M managed to lap ‘The Ring’ in 8 minutes and 24 seconds and the E92 M3 managed this feat in 8 minutes and 4 seconds which makes the new F86 X6 M a massive 20 seconds faster than the previous generation. Furthermore a couple months back, the Range Rover Sport SVR claimed to hold the SUV record at the ring with a time of 8 minutes and 14 seconds but if BMW are being honest, then this has been smashed! Let’s wait for the official times for now but it sounds promising!
