According to autocar, the next generation Bentley Continental will be riding on the same platform that will be developed for the all-new Porsche Panamera. It will make the switch from the old Phaeton’s D1 platform to the Porsche-developed MSB arhitecture which will result in significant weight loss and an more dynamic driving experience. There is also a very good chance that the new Continental will be available with Porsche’s new V8 engine which will provide a very good base for the future sportier derivatives. We will have to wait a while for this as it is only due to arrive late in 2016.
