A picture emerged over the weekend of a rather wrecked McLaren P1 in Washington DC and after digging a little further the car in question seem to belong to Sultan Bin Rashed Al Nahyan. His Instagram account shows a picture of the car with the comment “ya I’m fine thanx for askin guys, my friends stole it and crashed it it wasn’t me, I’m back home atm”

If my friends took my $1 million hypercar out for a joyride and did this, they would no longer be my friends. The good news is that the car will not be written off but likely to see the road again in about a month.
