Yesterday, Sport Auto managed to get an official time of the new baby M bimmer going around Hockenheim. It was a DCT-equipped model and managed to complete the lap in just 1:12.5. Although the M4 they did a lap time with was a manual version, it managed 1:12.8 which is so damn close its ridiculous. I would not be a happy M4 owner knowing that the new little arrival can take you on track! Quicker than the M2 was the Porsche Cayman GT4 with a lap time of 1:10.1 min, while behind the M2 we find cars like the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG, Audi RS3 and Ford Mustang GT.
