Whilst speaking to Car & Driver, Jaguar Land Rover North America CEO, Joe Eberhardt, mentioned that the model simply does not make sense anymore. He explained that a successor would have been priced in excess of $125,000 which have reduced its appeal drastically. Coupled with this and the fact that the F-Type has been such a great success, the XK successor has been axed from Jag’s future plans.
