The new Ford Focus is already a super hot hatch but for some enthusiasts it is never hot enough. Well Ford may be giving you something to sink your teeth into as they are reportedly planing a hotter version currently referred to as the Focus RS500. According to MotorMag, this hatch has the potential to become “the fastest-accelerating hatchback in history” thanks to an immense diet and more plastic body work. The 2.3-litre EcoBoost will be upgraded too because currently the 0 to 100 km/h time is 4.7 seconds and it company insiders are to be believed, then the ‘Focus RS500’ will take aim at the 4.0 seconds (or lower) mark.
