There are many powerful Convertible’s in the world thanks to the likes of Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and Aston Martin but Brabus have just introduced one of the most powerful drop-tops in the world called the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio. As you should have guessed, it is based on the Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet which packs 577 hp in stock form but thanks to the Benz tuner now pumps out a whopping 838 hp.

Where did they extract all this power from? Well as a start, they bored out the block from 5.5 litres to 6.0, fitted a new crankshaft, forged pistons, connecting rods, cylinder heads, intake module, exhaust system, and turbochargers. The new 0 to 100 km/h time is just 3.5 seconds (down from 3.8) and it will go all the way to 350 km/h. Not sure you would want to be doing that sort of speed without a roof though. Brabus never stop with just performance tuning so you also have the option to fit a full carbon fibre aero kit complete with 21 inch monoblock alloys. Just the package will set you back $180k (R2.6 million) and that is without the donor car.
