For those of you know know about this, we at least have a date to look forward to and for those who are not familiar, the Bloodhound SSC team are coming to South Africa to attempt to break the land speed record.
New funding has allowed the team to begin preparations and the first ‘test’ run will see the car hit 800mph (1290 km/h). Once they have gathered the relevant data from this run, they will return in 2018 for the incredible 1000mph attempt. Really hope we get the opportunity to go and witness this.
