Turns out that there will indeed be a roadster version of the hardcore GT R and it will get the GT C moniker. A leaked document shared product planning for new model introductions in 2017 and nine new models will show their face next year. Among these are the new-generation E-Class Coupé, high-riding E-Class All-Terrain and facelifted GLA (referred to as the GLA Coupé in the product planning document). Also planned is the recently unveiled 577bhp GT R and the aforementioned GT C, which will sport a fabric hood similar to that of the SLS roadster.
