It is never nice to see a car in a damaged state and it hurts even more when the car in question is the highly sought after Porsche 991 GT3 RS. The incident happened yesterday around 1pm and although details are not clear, looking at the wet conditions I would assume the driver lost control of the car.

The car left the road and collided with the embankment causing extensive damage to the front and rear of the vehicle. Both male occupants were uninjured and did not need to (or want to) go to hospital. The incident occurred on the R45 at Bridge House School just outside of Franschoek. With these machines being so special I would think it would be repaired rather than totaled. Pics and info thanks to paramedic @kurtmaske
