The team from Motor Trend recently took a 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo S to the Auto Club Speedway and the launch figures they achieved are astounding.

It hit 30 mph in a ridiculous 0.9 seconds, 0.2 tenths up on the LaFerrari and 0.3 tenths quicker than its bigger brother, the 918 Spyder. It then clocked 40 mph just 0.4 seconds later, once again eclipsing all hybrid hypercars and the Bugatti Veyron. Accelerating from 0 to 50 mph took just 1.8 seconds before it hit 60 mph in exactly 2.5 seconds, just behind the LaFerrari and 918 tied at 2.4 seconds. That is pretty damn impressive for a ‘regular’ supercar.
