This is a new RUF supercar and altought it looks like a Porsche 911 it isn’t actually based on one. What you are looking at below is the new 2017 RUF CTR and it is their first original chassis and does away with the 911 underpinnings.

It is based on an entirely original carbon monocoque and becomees the first of it’s kind to put an engine way in the back over the rear axle. What it packs is a 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat six rated at 700 horses which is channeled through a six-speed manual and limited-slip differential. If you consider all of this is sent to the rear wheels, this will be quite the handful.

The bodywork is crafted from carbon fibre and thanks to a minimalist cabin using loads of carbon too, it only weighs 1200 kg. The result is a 0-100km/h time of quoted at less than 3.5 seconds, passing 200 km/h in under 9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 362km/h.

They have revealed that they will only build 30 of them with pricing to be revealed at a later stage. Don’t expect to get a reasonable price here though!
