The technology today revolutionized the car industry forever. We have some of the most advanced, best-looking vehicles that are capable of achieving the impossible. We even have racing championships like the F1 where the drivers are behind the wheel of a car that is cutting through the curves while driving at 100 km/h. The fans of the adrenaline-filled races are so confident in the skills of the drivers and the endurance of the cars that they are even signing up to check the latest online betting odds and place wagers on their favourite.

But, the F1 world is not the only place where we can see just how advanced the auto industry is. Companies have been developing super-sports cars that are breaking the boundaries and reinventing the true meaning behind power, speed, and acceleration. With that adrenaline in mind, we have come up with a top 5 list of the fastest cars in the world. Their performance is off the charts, but so is their price. Let’s check them out.

    Hennessey Venom GT

Hennessey is an American company, based in Texas. It is widely known for the production of super-sports cars. The Venom GT is based on the design of Lotus Elisse. The first model came out in 2011 and broke the Guinness record in 2013 as the fastest road-legal car from 0-300 km/h. The fastest recorded speed by this model is 434 km/h (270mph).

    Koenigsegg Agera RS

The Koenigsegg CCX successor is a true devil on the road. There were a couple of Agera models made throughout the years, like Agera R, Agera S, One:1, but none of them came close to the Agera RS. This model was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The top recorded speed was 447 km/h (27mph). The last model of this kind was produced on April 4, 2018.

    SSC Tuatara

This is a fairly unknown model to the general public. The SSC Tuatara is an upcoming beast and the successor of the SSC Ultimate Aero. It is speculated that this car will have a V8 engine that will produce over 1,350 HP. The company revealed that the Tuatara’s top speed will be 482 km/h (300 mph).

    Hennessey Venom F5

We have another Hennessey model on the number 2 spot of our list. But, this time, it’s not the Venom GT – it is the Venom F5. Hennessey Performance Engineering revealed that the owners of this car will be hand-picked, but never gave too much detail about the model. It is confirmed that the engine will have over 1,800 HP and will have a top speed of 484 km/h (301 mph).

    Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300

And finally, at the very top, we have none other than a Bugatti. The Chiron Super Sport 300 was presented on August 2, 2019, to owners that were taking part in the company’s 110th-anniversary tour. The car will be equipped with a top speed limiter, but managed to break the record without it and became the fastest car on the planet with a speed of 489 km/h (304 mph). A Bugatti one-off of the model was recently presented – La Voiture Noire. The model is by far the most expensive car ever made.
