Well not quite but fairly close. Some dude took it upon himself to build a Veyron as he could not afford the real deal. He started with a 2002 Mercury Cougar and took 9 months to complete. The body is made from fiberglass, composites and a steel frame. Looks pretty similar but any car fan will immediately see the cheapness. This car will only spit out 170hp in comparison to the 1000hp of the monster W16 inside the Veyron.This ‘Veyron’ can however seat 4 people comfortably and costs a HELL-OF-A-LOT less. It can be yours from eBay for $89 000 which is not exactly a bargain considering what you are getting.
