The all new Maserati Kubang, which is Italian for SUV, has been released at the spectacular Frankfurt Motor Show. So this is Maserati’s take on a sports utility vehicle and they claim this is high end luxury motoring that other manufacturers do not obtain. The style, engine, suspension, brakes, handling and performance will all be through and through Maserati. The new powerplant which is currently being developed will most likely be mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Maserati showed a SUV concept a few years ago and I think this one does look a little better but this being said, it is still horrendous. Who in their right minds thinks this is a good looking car? It is a total eyesore. This car will no doubt borrow plenty parts from the Jeep and indications are already pointing to it rolling down the same assembly line as the Cherokee.
