Fire Engulfs Trailer Full of Luxury Cars in Thailand

Yet another truck of luxury cars has caught fire but this time it was not in Texas but rather Thailand. There is a 200% import tax on cars in Thailand which makes them properly expensive so seeing them anywhere but Beijing is a treat for the locals. What must be soul-destroying is seeing some of the most exotic machines in the world go up in flames. The cars involved were Ferrari F430 Scuderia, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, BMW X6M and what looks like 2 Bentley Continental Flying Spur’s. The total damage is estimated at around $3.4 million. Another Bentley and a Mercedes-Benz were spared (although could have smoke damage). The truck driver is being questioned as it could have been hot brakes that started it.
