    Flaming Wiesmann MF5 in Germany

    Wiesmann is not exactly well known and naturally this makes them rather rare. When one goes up in flames on a motorway in Bavaria, Germany, people take notice. This particular car was the MF5 which is the top of the range model equipped with a 4.4 litre V8 twin-turbo good for 555hp and 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The owner initially saw flames in his rear-view mirror and luckily managed to get out in time before the car was engulfed in flames. Quite a weird scenario seeing as the engine is up front but could be something to do with brakes or exhausts etc. This is the most powerful Wiesmann production car ever so it is quite sad to see it looking like this. Hope the owner had proper insurance to deal with this…
