The current fad is to clearly develop and produce an SUV and Rolls-Royce are feeling left out. Jaguar, Maserati and even Bentley have shown their intentions to build a Sport Utility Vehicle some have even been given the green light for production. Rolls CEO, Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes said “We are intensively thinking about entering the SUV Segment. The SUV segment is very interesting. It has been incridebly stable during the crisis, and I think a luxury niche will develop”. Their design team have started creating conceptual proposals as a first step in this process.
