The BMW 6 Series is a full-size BMW with all of the road presence its fullness of stature brings, but with a more sports-focused body style design and a distinctly coupe-style roof-line. Basically, it’s a big BMW that’s aimed more at those that enjoy driving, rather than those that like to be driven. And it comes as a coupe, 4-door and convertible.

    The BMW 6 Series Coupe
The BMW 6 Series Coupe is the sleek coupe of the 6 Series crop and gets just two doors in its body, like every coupe should. At the front we see the now traditional BMW kidney front grille, and in this case a pair of back-swept headlights leading a long and wide bonnet. Under this bonnet are only big engines, with either eight or six cylinders, and plenty of power and torque. Again, just like every coupe should.

It’s the roof-line where the BMW 6 Series Coupe earns its name with what can only be described as a gentle downward swoop from the windscreen back; finishing in a wide C-pillar and short boot lid. Classic coupe lines. This car is wide, low and sleek and makes one hell of a statement on the road – it’s so much bigger in the metal and perfect for those that want to make a statement with the business car they drive. If you’d like to consider the leasing costs of a quietly confident coupe like this, Listers always have a range of offers for you to look at.

Inside the BMW 6 Series Coupe we find an interior that’s as meticulously prepared as the exterior is detailed in its design. Acres of space, with a driver-focused dashboard and plenty of leather, wood veneers, and brushed and polished metals. Of course, there is also a wide range of the latest technology and drivers aids, and the very best in climate control – perfect to deliver you to your next meeting in incredible comfort. This is a large and comfortable coupe that’ll take continents in its stride, as well as long hauls up the M6 motorway.

The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe
If you like the sleek coupe style of the 6 Series Coupe, but absolutely must bow down to the pressures of practicality, then the 6 Series Gran Coupe could be for you. All the look, style and poised-for-performance presence of the 2-door Coupe, but with the extra ease of use that those two extra rear doors bring. Perfect for the businessperson who regularly carries passengers and clients during their day on the job.

The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe gets all of the style of the full Coupe car, indeed from the silhouette there is no difference to the roof-line swoop of either of these low-slung, big BMWs. It’s only from the side view that it’s obvious that there are four doors to the Gran Coupe. It’s a very neat BMW styling trick.

    The BMW 6 Series Convertible
When is a coupe not a coupe? When it’s a convertible, of course! The BMW 6 Series Convertible takes all of the sleek and low-slung style of the 6 Series Coupe, but makes its swooping roof-line with a retractable, folding soft-top.

The fully automatic roof is gone in mere seconds; revealing all of the luxury, fit and finish of the best of the BMW engineers, and as we’d expect there’s leather, wood and detailed metal everywhere. All the coupe style and desirability, but ready to help you top up the tan.
