We all know that lighting is very important when it comes to Audi so there is no surprise that the CEO, Rupert Stadler, has confirmed that their laser headlights will be put into production models. There was no mention as to when they would arrive but he did confirm that the 2014 R8 e-tron Quattro will be equipped with this new technology. What was quite interesting is that he went on to say that “we will be the first car brand to put laser light into production” which means they will have to be ready VERY soon seeing as BMW already announced that the i8 will be offered with laser lights.
