According to Dimmitt Automotive Group, McLaren will build between 30 and 50 of these 986 horsepower track only monsters but don’t think you can simply go and buy one. You need to own the ‘normal’ P1 to place your order for this version. Production of the GTR will only begin once the P1’s production is complete which will be around June next year. The deal includes entry to the first season of the racing series that travels around the world. There will be six racing events and McLaren will take care of transportation, storage and driver training for all of these.
