Ferrari 599 GTO Wrecked On Wet Autobahn

One of my all-time favourite Ferrari’s has been totaled in Germany on the Autobahn. The incident happened yesterday and judging by the pictures, it looks like it was very wet. Jeremy Clarkson once said that “if it rains, leave it in your garage” when talking about the 599 GTO and this seems to be the case and point of that statement. The driver was apparently ‘professional’ and even if this is true, it goes to show that even the really skilled among us can lose it in a beast like this. The car started to skid on the wet surface, it then hit the side of a truck before crashing into the barrier. Parts of the car were found 100m away from where the car came to rest. The driver was not injured badly which is very good news.
