McLaren P1 To Hit Kyalami and Rogue Rally 2014

I have just received word that there will be a McLaren P1 coming to South Africa in the very near future and it is not going to be sitting still. The car will arrive with a full McLaren team and their chief test driver, Chris Goodwin, to drum up interest around McLaren South Africa and of course the insane P1. Unfortunately the order books had closed before any South African’s could get their deposits in so we will not be receiving any of these cars in our beautiful country.

The P1 that is coming to SA will be participating in this year’s Rogue Rally. That’s right, this hypercar all the way from the United Kingdom will be running alongside all the supercars this year on the six day rally around our beautiful country covering over 2800 km’s. This year’s rally starts on the 21st of September and ends on the 27th of September. I am sure you are all waiting with baited breath to see a McLaren P1 cruising the streets and roads of South Africa

After the rally on the 11th of October, McLaren South Africa and Daytona Group will be hosting a track day at Kyalami for all their customers and clients. The difference with this track day is that the epic P1 will be present and will indeed be attacking the track and most likely the production car lap record. This event is open to the public so petrol heads and supercar lovers, put this in your diary now! It is an event not to be missed. I will update you all with more information once I receive it.
