I mentioned last month that the Porsche 918 Spyder only had a few units left to sell and now Porsche sales chief Bernhard Maier has said that they are “close to the finish line” thanks to the demand from the North American market. I had no doubts they would sell out and I am quite sure the likes of McLaren and Ferrari will be kicking themselves a little bit because the market is a lot bigger than anyone thinks.
