In a recent interview with Mercedes team boss, Toto Wolff, he was asked if Lewis has been in contact with Ferrari. Toto replied “Sure, Lewis has had contact with Ferrari. He just bought a LaFerrari”. To purchase a LaFerrari you need to have owned many Ferrari’s before which I don’t think he has but he may have a secret collection that we don’t know about. The second point is that the LaFerrari sold out last year so when Toto said he has just bought one, it must be a private purchase which means he is paying a hefty premium to get his hands on Maranello’s finest.
