The new Audi R8 has arrived and the e-tron has been confirmed as part of the lineup nex to the R8 and R8 V10 Plus. What makes this car quite exciting is that it is going into production and you can buy it. It can hit 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds thanks to a pair of rear-axle mounted motors that generate 456 bhp and a whopping 920 Nm of torque. The most impressive part is the range and recharge which is 276 miles to be precise (444 km) and 2 hours respectively. Cosmetically, it looks the same as the 2015 R8 but it does feature a few unique styling queues. This model will get blacked out front grille, a bonnet scoop and different front facing LED daytime running lights. This is one hell of an achievement!
