Jaguar are set to take on the BMW M3 and Mercedes-AMG C 63 S with a new V8-powered flagship that will hit 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds. The fastest XE sedan is expected to share the same 5.0-litre V8 under the bonnet of the F-Type Roadster. This will likely be the XE-R version but it does not stop there as there could be an even beastlier version with 400kW coming from the new performance division, SVO. This will probably be branded the SVR because we were recently told that the RS monikers were being done away with.
