It seems the Germans at BMW are not finished revealing cars as they have just taken the wraps off the 3.0 CSL Hommage R concept. Essentially, it is a racing version of the 3.0 CSL Hommage which we saw debut earlier this year and as a result the car features a familiar design but gets a Brilliant White exterior with revised grille, M racing stripes and some 21-inch alloy wheels with matte gold and black accents.

The interior features carbon fibre seats with white leather and a six-point safety harness. Continuing with the interior of the car you will fins a roll cage, an eBoost charging indicator and some illuminated wood trim sections to show the track braking points. BMW went further and created a unique helmet with visor that acts as a heads-up display showing the driver the speed, revs and which gear is engaged. BMW also designed a unique racing suit which has illuminated piping that lights up to show the “progress of information – from the shift impulse display, for example – out of the steering column over the driver’s arms and into his visor.”
