It seems another BMW i8 has been laid to rest after crashing in Arizona. The details around the crash are unknown but looking at the extent of the damage, it may very well be totaled. Damage is primarily on the left rear quarter of the car with the suspension completely ripped from the car and the wheel barely hanging on. The front door and rear bumper will also need to be replaced and if the carbon fibre chassis has been damaged, then this may well be scrapped. Another reason why it may be totaled is the airbags have been deployed and many insurance companies write the car off when this happens.
