Renntech have got their hands on the Mercedes-AMG GT and the result is insane! They fitted it with with stainless steel downpipes, high-flow air filters and the Renntech Stage 1 Turbo kit which pushes the output up significantly. The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine can now pump out 716hp and 889Nm of torque to the rear wheels. This should in theory bring the 0 to 100km/h sprint time down by about 0.2 seconds to 3.6 seconds. While no performance figures have been released yet, it should beat the standard car’s 0-100km/h (62mph) time of 3.8sec and possibly improve on the 330km/h (210mph) top speed. The power upgrade, called the R1 Performance, is only available for the AMG GT S.
