For those avid M fans your prayers might have been answered because according to BMWBlog, a BMW M2 CS / CSL is already in the planning stage at BMW M headquarters. All of the CSL vehicles have been given similar treatment to convert a normal road car into a track beast. They are usually stripped out, widened, lowered and given more aggressive aero. The BMW M2 CSL should be no different. Since the car will look like it’s faster it should get quite a nice bump in power so expect a figure closer to the 400 horsepower mark. This will be a real enthusiasts car and will likely sell out before most people have even seen it. To confirm that the M2 CSL is a reality I personally know someone in South Africa who has ordered one already.
