    Koenigsegg Working On 1.6-Litre Engine Pushing 400 Horsepower

    Yes you read that title correctly! Recently CarBuzz had a chance to talk directly with Mr Christian von Koenigsegg about the future of engine technology and it is pretty clear that the hypercar maker is leading the way to create the most horsepower per liter output of any combustion engine. They are currently working on a 1.6-litre engine capable of pumping out 400 hp. “We are currently working on a 1.6-litre engine that will produce 400 hp or more. The same principles with which we designed the Agera and Regera engines can be applied to these smaller engines.” he said.
